Tina B - writer, author and broadcaster
You know that saying 'life begins at 40'? Well, I am discovering that my 40's are definitely the age where I have found my metier as a writer, author and broadcaster. 

My career started in magazine publishing (EMAP and Forward Publishing) and progressed into self employment as a writer and marketer.

As I took the self employment leap, I also had interesting journey of self development, becoming a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming, and developing a specific expertise in language and behaviour patterns. I've used this in training, coaching, interviewing, market research, marketing and PR strategy and in copywriting. 

In 2002 I self-published a coaching manual for horse riders to overcome confidence problems. I also have three books of horsy humour published by Hodder and Stoughton  and through that experience know more about the book publishing world than I care to think about. 

My interest in broadcasting has come later in life. I now co-present the Girls on Top radio show on 102.6fm Boundary Sound. You can tune in here. I also present The Book Channel - a new programme on Sky 166 for book lovers and writers. The Book Channel combines my love of books, knowledge of publishing, my interviewing skills and my desire to present a TV show. (The Angels do listen!)

 I have also had to learn how to market and promote myself through every available avenue including social media, which led me to write Social Networking for Rookies for Marshall Cavendish in 2008.

Words are my passion - written or spoken - I just love 'em!


George and Maisie - angels and muses
The little chap in the photo with me is George. Sadly he died last year but it is such a great photo of both of us I still use it. George has, I am sure, gone off on another mission of love and salvation and so we now have another little dog/angel-in-training, Maisie, who keeps reminding us to stay present and find the joy in each moment.


Paul - musician extraordinaire (and marketing expert)
My gorgeous and very supportive partner. Paul knows everything there is to know about marketing and is a very useful brain to pick. He is also an NLP Trainer. However it is his musical expertise that he brings to the TLB Media party. In his spare time he is a musician and composer and has created some amazing pieces of meditation music, signature tunes and backing tracks for ads. He also has all the geeky software for mixing, editing etc which means we can do all sorts of wonderful things with audio tracks, both with music and the spoken word. He is my hero and just maybe he'll be yours too.
